I am a post-doctoral researcher at the Computer Vision and Active Perception lab (CVAP) at the Kungliga Tekniska Högskolan (KTH). My research deals with visual perception for manipulation. Information about my research can be found under the research menu.

In 2009, I received my Ph.D. degree from the University of Groningen, where I worked at the Artificial Intelligence institute. The title of my dissertation is "Visual Attention and Active Vision: from natural to artificial systems". Information about my Ph.D. research can be found here.

I received my M.Sc. degree in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Groningen in 2002. From 2002 until 2005, I was a junior teacher in Groningen. I taught a number of courses in the area of robotics and autonomous systems. A complete overview of the courses I gave can be found here.
